Accessibility

RFE Broadcast is committed to making information about our FM transmitters, amplifiers, antenna systems and broadcast equipment available to as many people as possible — regardless of disability, device or assistive technology used to browse the site.

Our commitment

We work to make the content and functions of this website perceivable, operable, understandable and robust, taking as our reference the international WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines, the European standard EN 301 549 and the principles of the European Accessibility Act. Accessibility is not a goal we reach once: it is a criterion we apply to every new page, product sheet and update.

Scope

This statement covers the rfebroadcast.com website as a whole: informational pages, product catalogue pages, downloadable datasheets and manuals, news articles and the contact form.

What we have done

To improve the experience for all users we have adopted, among others, the following measures:

  • Clear semantic structure — headings, lists and page landmarks are marked up correctly, so content stays understandable with a screen reader.
  • Keyboard navigation — all main functions, including the menu, product navigation and contact form, can be reached and used without a mouse, with an always-visible focus state.
  • Contrast and legibility — text and background colours are chosen to provide adequate contrast; text remains readable when the page is enlarged.
  • Alternative text — informative images, including product photos and technical diagrams, have a text description; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Labels and ARIA roles — buttons, fields and dynamic components expose correct labels and roles.
  • Responsive layout — pages adapt to smartphone, tablet and desktop and support content zoom without loss of information.
  • Accessible documents — we work to make our downloadable datasheets and manuals usable with assistive technologies wherever possible.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with recent versions of the most common browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge — and with the main assistive technologies, such as screen readers. For the best experience we recommend keeping your browser and assistive tools up to date.

Known limitations

Despite our ongoing effort, some content may not yet be fully accessible — for example materials supplied by third parties or embedded components (maps, videos, external forms) and legacy technical documents. When we identify a barrier, we prioritise it according to its impact on users and work to remove it as quickly as possible.

Continuous improvement

We periodically check the accessibility of the site, combining automated checks and manual testing — including keyboard navigation and screen readers — and we consider accessibility from the design stage of every new section.

Feedback and contact

If you have difficulty accessing any part of the site, or have suggestions for improving its accessibility, please let us know: you will help us make it better for everyone. You can reach us through the Contacts page. Where possible, tell us the page concerned and the kind of difficulty you encountered, so we can act more quickly.
